Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by the Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. She has been a popular actress on TV. Then, she appeared in her role in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, De La Garza was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring character. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was in NBC's dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes the show was canceled.
